Funeral services for William Gary Brantley, 61, who died Friday, Sept. 14, 2001, will be held Tuesday at 10 am in George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home with Dr. Terry Collins officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday prior to the service.
Mr. Brantley was a native of Millwood, GA and a longtime resident of Jacksonville, FL. He was a member of the Protestant faith. Preceded in death by his wife, Joy Faye (Manning) Brantley, and their daughter Debbie Faye (Brantley) Blalock.
Survivors include his mother, Myrtle Ruth Brantley; father, Count Julian Brantley Jr; a daughter, Tammy L. Smith (Brian); a brother, Carroll J. Brantley (Sharon) of Westminster SC; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
