She is survived by her husband Orion Lindell Hitt, a son James Lyndell Hitt of Warrenton, Three Brothers, Linwood Ashby, Woodstock,Edward Scott Ashby, Washington, and John Butler Ashby, Marshall, Four Sisters Mrs Margarete Kyhl, Mrs Rebecca Adams, Both of Marshall, Mrs Kataleen Ball, Alexandria, and Mrs Melda Thorpe, The Plains.
Funeral services were held May 21 at the Thumb Run Baptist Church with interment at Orlean Cemetery.
