A son of Alfred and Anne Poole Gardiner, he was born Jan 3, 1881. He married May Maud Woodcock in Salt Lake City in June, 1903. She died Aug. 8 1926.
He later married Betsy Emeline Aldous February 17, 1930.
Survivors include his widow, four brothers, E. A. and W. P. Gardiner, both of Salt Lake City; Willard and Burt Gardiner, both of Ogden, and two sisters, Mrs. Rachael Harrop and Mrs. Olive Lundquist, Ogden.
Funeral services will be conducted in Cokeville Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Salt Lake City Cemetery, where graveside services will be conducted Monday. Cortege will leave the home of Mrs. Dan S. Gardiner Sr., 2031 E 17th South, Monday at 3:30 p.m.
