The following obituary appeared in the newspaper in Cokeville, Wyoming on August 10,1926.

Funeral services for Mrs. May Woodcock Gardiner, 45, wife of A.N. Gardiner, well known stockman of this section, will be held here Thursday, Aug, 13 at 12:30 p.m. Mrs. Gardiner died in a Soda Springs hospital Sunday.

The body will then be taken to Salt Lake where it will be viewed at the home of Dan S. Gardiner, 1736 South Ninth East on Friday, Aug. 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 n. Graveside services will be held in the Salt Lake City cemetery at 1 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Gardiner was born in London, and came to Utah in 1901. Mrs. Gardiner was well known as a vocalist in both Utah and Wyoming.
