She was born on Nov. 27, 1918, to the late George and Leona (Weber) Mann in Dodgeville, Wis. She was educated in the schools of Dodgeville and came to Kenosha shortly after high school.
On Nov. 26, 1960, Inez married Glenn M. Fonk in Somers.
Inez worked for over 20 years as a laborer at the C and D Duck Company in Racine County.
In 1977, Inez and her husband Glenn, retired and moved to Hiles, Wis., where they lived for 30 years.
Inez was an active member of the Somers Snowmobile Club and also the Hiles, Wis. Snowmobile Club.
In her younger years, Inez enjoyed bowling, playing softball, and snowmobiling. She also enjoyed fishing, sewing quilts, baking, and going on gambling trips. Later in life, she did a lot of canning, enjoyed being in her garden, and taking care of all her plants in her house. But most of all, she loved doing things with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Survivors include one son; Larry, (Marilyn) Fonk of Kenosha; two step-daughters, Dorothy (Robert) Walker of Sommersville, Ala., and Patsy Rice of Lancaster, Wis.; seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. and 11 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn in 2006; one granddaughter, Debbie Lee Fonk and five brothers.
Burial will be at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
