DODGEVILLE - Willard LaVor Mann, age 76, of Dodgeville, Wisconsin, died Sunday, January 12, 1992 at Memorial Hospital of Iowa County following a long illness. LaVor was born June 5, 1915, in Dodgeville Township, to George and Leona (Weber) Mann. He married the former Anna Mae Reger of Highland on November 26, 1938. The couple farmed in the Highland and Mineral Point areas until retiring to Mt. Horeb in 1967. He was then involved in raising chinchillas and rabbits. They moved to Dodgeville in 1974 where LaVor had been active in the Dodgeville Farmer's Market for several years. He was involved with the Rockwell Mills 4-H Club as Small Animals Project Leader and was an Event Judge at the Iowa County fair. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae, on January 10, 1988; a son, Gary, on October 5, 1974; and three brothers, William, Wallace and Aloyious Mann. He is survived by two daughters, Donna (Paul) Hoffman of Plattevllle, and Clarice (Michael) Halverson of Dodgeville; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Edwin (Geneva) Mann of Dodgeville; and a sister, Inez (Glenn) Fonk of Isles [Hiles], Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 1992 at the LULLOFF PETERSON FUNERAL HOME, Dodgeville. Reverend Philip Yeager will officiate with burial in East Side Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 14, 1992, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
