DODGEV1LLE, Wis. — George B. F. Mann, about 45 years old, was crushed to death, Thursday, by a tree he was chopping down, on the John Crook farm in the town of Standard, 11 miles north of here.
Mr. Mann had left his home in the morning and when he failed to return for lunch a search was started. He was found with a crushed chest which had caused instant death, according to Dr. William Reese, of this city. He is survived by the widow and six small children.
