"LAST RITES FOR CHAS. H. HARRISON ARE TODAY.

Funeral services of Charles H[ays] Harrison, formerly of Pomona, but who has been living in Bakersfield for the past nine years, will be held in Pomona this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Todd chapel, Rev. J. F. Hedgpeth, officiating. Mr. Harrison died at Redondo Beach last Thursday, after an illness of several months. Burial will be in Pomona cemetery, with Pomona Canton No. 3, of the Odd Fellows lodge in charge of the services.

Chas. Harrison was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge in Pomona, and had been through all branches in the Bakersfield lodge. Deceased was born in Illinois, but spent the greater part of his boyhood days in Cromwell, Iowa. He came to Pomona in about 1904, and lived in this city for about 8 years. He leaves a wife, Katherine Harrison, and four brothers and a sister: W[ilbur] L. Harrison, of Leavenworth, Kans; Mrs. A[rchibald] L[ee] Johnston [nee Jennie Mildred Harrison], Pharr, Texas; L[ouie] U[lysses] Harrison, Cromwell, Iowa; F[rank] E. Harrison, formerly of Pomona, now of Yuma, Ariz; and Bert E[lmer] Harrison, of Hollywood."
