Lee enjoyed being outdoors. He spent many evenings and night hunting wolves. Following the lack of wolves in the area, Lee began hunting coyotes. Lee has been featured in the Hunter’s Horn several times for his expertise and quality dogs. Lee was always a wonderful story teller even if it meant stretching the truth a little bit.
Lee passed from this life on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 95 years, four months and eighteen days.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Viola Buntin; wife Louise Buntin in 2009; three children Eddie Buntin, Ruth Sparks, Cheryl Buntin and a granddaughter Brittany Sparks.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home with Marty Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawson Cemetery in Yale, Oklahoma under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home.
