Louise Ann (Davis) Buntin was born July 17, 1932 in Independence, Kansas to Otis Nathaniel and Hazel Elizabeth (Hudson) Davis and passed from this life November 17, 2009 at the age of 77.
A Will Rogers High School graduate, Louise worked as a Claims Secretary for the State Farm Insurance Group for 23 years. Once she retired her time was occupied by raising African Violets, going to and participating in arts and craft shows, reading and spending time with family. Louise was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her memories will always be cherished and she will be deeply missed.
Preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Marjorie Davis, her step-daughter, Ruth Sparks and her step-son, Eddie Buntin; Louise is survived by her husband, Lee E. Buntin, of the home; her daughter and her husband, Theresa and Mike Moydell; her step-daughter, Judy Lipps; her son and his wife, Robert and Sandy Hagerdon; her step-son and his wife, Allen and Terri Buntin; her sister, Carolyn Sue Riederer; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Louise will lie in state 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Ninde Woodland Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel with final interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St, Alexandria, VA 22311
