Charles Roy Noel
Charles Roy Noel, husband of Miriam P. Noel, 229 South West Street, died yesterday evening ay 7:15 o'clock at his home. He was 55 years old.

Besides his widow, the deceased is survived by his father, Edward Noel, York; the following sons; Charles E. Noel Jr., West Willow, PA; Robert W. Noel, 111 North Penn Street; Richard D. Noel, serving with the U.S. Navy in North Africa and George E. Noel, 25 West Jackson Street; daughters, Mrs. Charles MacDonald, MacDonald Heights; Mrs. Ervin Bucher, 25 West Jackson Street and Phyllis Noel, at home; brothers, William, Harry and Edward Noel, all of York; a step daughter, Mrs. William Heidelbaugh and step sons, Robert and Philip Eichelberger, York.

He was a member of the Rex Fire company and played with the York baseball team. Since 1931 until his death he owned and operated a grocery business at 592 Salem Ave.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the Edward W. Baumeister Colonial Mortuary, Queen and Jackson streets. Interment will be in Mount Rose cemetery.
