Mrs. Esther E. Cushway, 67, of 701 North Cushing street, died in her home at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday. She was born in Hebron, Ind., March 27, 1881, and came here in 1923 from there.
She was married here in 1919 to Alex Cushway, who survives. She leaves a son, Chester, Michigan City, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Masters, South Bend; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Sally P. Palmer, Topeka, Kan.; a brother, Lee Morehouse, Brookston, Ind., and a half-brother, Frank Johnson, Brookston.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church 22 years.
