celebrated her 80th birthday, died
Tuesday morning at the home of a son,
Marvin A. Sterrett in Brown's Gulch,
near Butte.
Charlott Sterrett was a native of
LaFayette, Ind., born there on Nov. 17,
1861. She had been a resident of
Montana for the past 30 years.
Surviving are her husband, two sons
and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
J. R. Sterrett of Havre and Mr.
and Mrs. Marvin A. Sterrett of Butte;
three daughters and two sons-in-law,
Mrs. Flaud Lockwood of Butte, Mr. and
Mrs. A. J. Raymond of Butte and Dr.
and Mrs. J. H. Plant of San Francisco,
Calif. Also surviving are 12
grandchildren, six great grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
The body has been removed to the White
mortuary, where funeral services will be
conducted in the chapel Wednesday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the
Rev. L. E. Jones, pastor of the Emmanuel
Lutheran church, officiating. Burial will
be in Mount Moriah cemetery.
