Born on May 22, 1904, in Wayne Township, Mifflin County, he was a son of the late Samuel and Mary (Fogal) Cramer. He was united in marriage to the former Grace Keller on September 10, 1927, in Mercersburg.
Surviving are his wife and the following children: Mrs. Ernest (Josephine) Flood of Shippensburg; Mrs. Earl (Mary) Suders and Mrs. Robert (Jean) Prough, both of Mount Union, R.D.; and Gerald of McVeytown. Two sons, William J. and Samuel, preceded him in death.
There are 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Josephine Price of Mount Union, R.D., and Mrs. Ruth Brown of Maddensville.
Four brothers and four sisters preceded him in death. Mr. Cramer retired from the Harbison-Walker Refractories in 1968, following 45 years of service. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Huntingdon, American Legion Post No. 107, VFW Post No. 5754
and the Sons of Italy Lodge in Mount Union. He was of the Protestant faith.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, at the Heath funeral home in Mount Union. The Rev. Charles Hess of Curwensville will officiate, with interment in Haven Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 9 p.m. today, Tuesday, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of the services on Wednesday.
