Josephine Z. Flood, age 84, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born April 5, 1929 in Mt. Union, PA, she was the daughter of the late Josiah B. and Grace M. Keller Cramer.

Mrs. Flood was a homemaker most of her adult life, she enjoyed puzzles, reading, cooking, going to yard sales, and attending flea markets. Her and her late husband had their own flea market stand for over 35 years at the former Silver Spring Flea Market in Mechanicsburg.

Surviving are four children, Robert E. Flood (wife Brenda) of Fayetteville, PA, Margaret A. Keefer (husband James) of Chambersburg, PA, John B. Flood (wife Cindy) of Waynesboro, PA, and Donna R. Keller (husband Robert) of Shippensburg, PA; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three siblings, Gerald Cramer (wife Louise) of Newton Hamilton, PA, Mary Suders of Mt. Union, PA, and Jean Prough (husband Robert) of Mt. Union, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Flood and two brothers, William and Samuel Cramer.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA; where Rev. Christopher Little will officiate.

The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 6 -8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Interment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 North Progress Ave., suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
