Son of William J. and Stella Howe Peterman.
Married Betty Jo Anglin May 1946. She preceded him in death in 2007.
Survivors include daughters Brenda Joyce (Larry) Gayler and Kathy (John) Barnes; sisters Carolyn Lichtenwalter and Marilyn Sherrill; 4 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, grandson Ashton Barnes, brothers John, Jim, Terry, Tom, Bobby and Melvin, and sisters Dorothy, Helen, Mary Louise, Sue Hartle, Kate Whalden and Betty Volk.

He was educated in Indianapolis schools.
He served in the US Navy during WWII as a baker.
Retired from RR Donnelley after 40 years.
He loved to travel and eat out.

Gravside services with military rites 3pm Monday with Pastor Joseph Lee officiating.
