Mrs. Helen Cheek Fuller, 82, of 304 Lynbrook Drive, died April 18, 1997, at Cone Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. Mrs. Fuller was a native of Halifax County, and was retired from A&P Grocery Stores. She was also a homemaker and a member of the Golden Agers Group at her church. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Mabel and Earl Lane of Greensboro , Christine and Tom Reynolds of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Connie and John Hedrick of Winston-Salem; sister, Ethel Reese of Gibsonville; brothers, William Cheek of High Point, and Holt Cheek of Elon College; grandchildren, Terry Nelson, Teresa Long, Tommy Lane, Jeremy and Brian Reynolds, and Angie Patterson; great-grandchildren, Karla and Katie Nelson, and Marcus and Marcel Patterson. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. tonight at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, 900 16th Street, Greensboro , N.C. 27405; or The Hospice Unit, Cone Memorial Hospital, 1200 N. Elm Street, Greensboro , N.C. 27401.
