Charles Russell Pharris, 79, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died October 28, 2014 at Regency Hospital in Springdale, Arkansas.

He was born August 15, 1935 at Venus, Arkansas, the son of Charley Jefferson and Mary Catherine Keck Pharris. He was a retired automobile bodyman and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by one son, Buddy Pharris.

Survivors include: one son, Richard Pharris of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one daughter, Lisa Daniel of Capitan, New Mexico; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Freddie and Sue Pharris of Hindsville, Arkansas and Joe and Karen Pharris of Fort Collins, Colorado; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Bernice Green of Lonoke, Arkansas, Norma Lee and Ike Labor and Kathy Wood, all of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Linda and James Estep of Ozark, Arkansas and several grandchildren including Jessica Pharris of Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Friday, October 31, at the Venus Cemetery with The Reverend Porter Bryant officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, Huntsville, Arkansas.
