Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Bowling Green with Rev. Randall Cone officiating. Burial will be in the Curryville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2014 at Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
Beulah was born November 25, 1917 in Curryville the daughter of Frank T. and Bertha Henderson Branstetter. Survivors include two sons Mel E. Woods of Bowling Green, Michael T. Woods of Longwood, FL; three grandchildren Scott and wife Rosa Woods, Mark Woods and Grant Woods; three great grandchildren Ryan, Danika and Quinn Woods; brother Sam Branstetter of Middletown; two sisters Restora Privett of Louisiana, and Dorothy Luebbers of Bowling Green. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson Michael T. Woods II.
Beulah lived in Curryville and Bowling Green all of her life. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bowling Green where she was active in church activities including the quilting club. Beulah was a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), liked to play bridge and watch the St. Louis Cardinals. She worked as secretary for the Pike County superintendent of schools at the Pike County Courthouse for several years, she worked for McIlroy and Millan and then she worked for Family Services with the State of Missouri until her retirement.
