Alexander McAloney
Alexander McAloney, 46, an inspector for the Gas company, died in hospital on Monday following a brief illness. He had resided at 1757 College Lane.
Born in Halifax, N.S., he had resided in Calgary for the past 18 years.
Surviving are his wife, Alfreda, and two daughters, Doris and Marion, all of Calgary; four sisters, Mrs. H. Anderson, of New Hampshire, U.S.A.; Mrs. Otto Maaren, Mrs. C. Crowe, both of Vancouver; and Mrs. James Sumas, Wash.; one brother, George, of New Westminster.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Jacques funeral home on Thursday, at 1:30 o'clock, with Rev. Dr. W. Hollingsworth officiating. Interment will be in Burnsland cemetery.
