Miss Annie Burns was born October 26, 1881 in Lincoln County, Mississippi, the daughter of Joseph Sandifer Burns (1843-1926) and his 1st wife Laruah "Elizabeth" (Summers) Burns (1846-1891).
A resident of 919 19th Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee, she was a Christian Science practitioner and 60 years old when she died of cancer at home on February 12, 1942. Burial was two days later in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville.
