Maxwell (Dick) Van Every, 66, formerly of Genoa City and Lake Geneva, late of Powers Lake, died there Monday at his son's home.
The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leon (Alice Masters) Van Every, he was born on March 18, 1916 in Richmond, Ill.
He had been employed as a truck driver by Repco Co. in Richmond for 15 years before retiring in October 1982.
Surviving are four sons, David, Powers Lake, Robert and Henry, both of Kenosha, and John, Paddock Lake; a brother, Allan (Tag), Solon Mills, Ill.; three sisters, Wanda Todd, Richmond, Clara Mary Vogel, Greenwood, Ill., and Jane Levandoski, Black Canyon City, Ariz., and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Charles, in 1966, and by a sister, Dorothy Danmeir, in 1977.
