Mrs. Dorothy L. Dammeir
Mrs. Dorothy L. Dam-meir, age 66 of Lyons, Wisconsin died Thursday evening, October 20, 1977 at Burlington Memorial Hospital at Burlington, Wisconsin.
She was born June 8, 1911 in Spring Grove, Illi-nois, the daughter of Leon and Alice Masters VanEvery. She was married to William H. Dammeir on April 30, 1930 in Woodstock, Illinois and he died May 30, 1966.
She was a laundress at Burlington Memorial Hospital for eight years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lyons.
Mrs. Dammeir is survived by a daughter, Mrs. {Name withheld for privacy} of Pell Lake, Wis., two sons, Edward of Clintonville, Wis., Kenneth of Cloverdale, Ind; by ten grandchildren, one great grandchild. Survivors also include her mother, Mrs. Alice VanEvery of Richmond; three sisters, Mrs. Wanda Todd of Richmond, Mrs. Frances Lavendoski of Black Canyon City, Arizona, Mrs. Harold (Clara) Vogel of Greenwood, Ill. and two brothers, Dick VanEvery of Lake Geneva, Wis. and Allen "Tag" VanEvery of Solon Mills.
She was preceded in death by her father, a son, Duane and a granddaughter Robin Dammeir.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m., Sunday, October
23, 1977 at Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home in Richmond with Rev. William S. Avery officiating.
Interment was in Richmond Cemetery.
