Born in Romania, Mr. Eckhaus came to this country and Spokane in 1914.
He was a life member of Elks Lodge 228, a member of American Legion Post 9, and Keneseth Israel Synagogue.
Survivors include his wife, Jennie, at the home; a son, Jack, Spokane; a daughter, Betty Louise Silberberg, Chicago, and two grandchildren.
