Mrs. Jennie Eckhaus, 62, widow of Albert Eckhaus, died yesterday in a hospital here. Her home was at S210 Spruce.
Mrs. Eckhaus was born in England but had resided in Spokane 55 years. She was a member of Temple Beth Shalom and its Sisterhood, and the Daughters of Israel.
Her husband died in 1960.
The body is at Smith’s, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday by Rabbi Gilbert Kollin. Burial will be in Mount Nebo.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Lou Silberberg, Morton Grove, Illinois; a son, Jack Eckhaus, Spokane; and two brothers, Philip and Louis Weiner, both Spokane.
