Rev. Noah A. Allen Sr., age 94 of Talbott, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family. He was an ordained Bishop an honor he received while serving the Church of God for over 70 years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Minnie Gray Allen, daughters: Ruth Gilliam and Lillian Altheide, daughter-in-law; Sandra Allen and granddaughter; Donna DeBord, also 5 brothers and sisters. Rev. Allen is survived by his children; Paul and Loretta Allen, Ruby and Donald DeBord, Noah “NA” and Wilma Allen Jr. and Robert and Debbie Allen, 21 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, brothers; Arlie Allen and Randolph Allen Jr., sisters; Daisy Cherry, Annabelle Brown and Mary Maloy, several nieces, nephews and other family members, also longtime and special caregivers; Pat Mitchell and Betty Putchlawski. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, 7:00pm at White Pine Church of God, with Selected Ministers officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00 prior to the service at the church. Military Graveside Interment will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, 1:00pm in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, with family and friends gathering at the cemetery at 12:45pm on Wednesday for the service.
