Graveside service for Elsie Fay Ellis, 69, of Malvern were held January 6, at Malvern Cemetery. The Rev. Nina Platte officiated.
mrs. Ellis passed away December 31, 1991 at St. Joseph Hospital, Omaha.
She was born February 13, 1922 in College Springs, Iowa, the daughter of Oral and Minnie Watson. She attended school at Blanchard and married Hallie Ellis on May 25, 1938 in Rock Port, Missouri. She was a resident of the Coin and Malvern areas for most of her lifetime.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one infant sister.
Survivors include her husband, Hallie of Malvern, four sons, Lonnie Ellis and wife Malu of Fort Dix, New Jersey, Donald Ellis and wife Debbie of McClenny, Florida, Randy Ellis of Malvern, and Denny Ellis and wife Vicki of Glenwood; one daughter, Marilyn Rice and husband Jack of Berthoud, Colorado; two brothers, Lloyd of Watson, Essex, and John Watson of Bedford; two sisters, Darlene Messenger of Cosmopolis, Washington, and Ona Brownfield of Sidney; 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
