Funeral services for Mrs. Evie Durden Beckum, 91, were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Memorial Chapel. Burial was held in West View Cemetery. The Rev. Wendell Thomas and the Rev. Luke Moncrief officiated.
Mrs. Beckum died Feb. 4 in a local hospital. She was a native of Hancock County and had lived in Baldwin County most of her life. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Mr. John Robert Beckum of Atlanta; a sister, Mrs. Irene Tuggle of Milledgeville; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Williams Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
