Mrs. Barbara Thomas (Tamas), 86, of 2402 Caledonia St. died today in the Lucas County Home.
Born in Hungary, Mrs. Thomas lived in Toledo 60 years. She was a charter member of St. Stephen’s Church and was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society.
Surviving are her sons, John, Joseph and Steve Thomas; daughters, Mrs. Mary Kovacs, Mrs. Helen Benedict and Mrs. Margaret Rick, all of Toledo and Mrs. Irene Phelps, Bettendorf, Ia.; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the Kinsey Mortuary. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Stephen’s Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Toledo Blade, Thursday, September 6, 1962
