Joseph L. Thomas, 63, of 877 Utah St., died today in his home after an illness of eight months.

Mr. Thomas was a lifelong Toledo resident. He was a truck driver for the Kuhlman Builders Supply Co. 33 years and was a member ofTeamsters Local 20.

Surviving are his wife, Clara Ann; sons, Robert of Toledo; David of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; Anthony of New Oxford, Pa., and Godfrey of Mt.Vernon, O.; daughters, Mrs. Barbara Banner, Mrs. Mary Alford, and Christine Thomas, all of Toledo; Mrs. Antonia Connelley of Atlanta, and Sister David Emmanuel, Raven Hill Academy, Philadelphia; brothers, John and Steve, both ofToledo; sisters, Mrs. Mary Kovacs and Mrs. Helen Benedict, both of Toledo; Mrs.Margaret Rick, Oregon, and Mrs. Irene Phelps, Davenport, Ia., and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 9 a.m. in Good Shepherd Church. The body is in the Tohle Mortuary. Toledo Blade, Thursday, November 19, 1964
