Parents were Robert Newton Harrison and Permitty Katherine Conaway. Married 1) Bettie Beulah Walker. She died 21 May 1918. They had one son. Married 2) July 23, 1919 in Freestone County, Texas to Wilma Ann Kulbeth. They had two daughters. The following obituary was printed in the Fort-Worth Star-Telegram on March 5, 1956. Byron Charles Harrison, 68, resident here 10 years, died at 2:15 p.m. Sunday in a hospital after being confined to bed 16 months. Harrison was a member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans. He had his own shoe repair business in Wichita Falls before coming here. He was a resident of Wichita Falls 25 years. Harrison, of 1010 N. Sylvania, was a member of the Last Man's Organization. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs Joe L. Doling of Fort Worth and Mrs Lester C Walden of California; four brothers and Three grandchildren. Owens and Brumley will announce arrangements. Burial was March 6, 1956.
