Dugere T. Bradberry, 87, a lifelong resident of Grand Isle, died at 4:55 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church in Grand Isle. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by seven sons, Thomas, Alfred, Georgie, Rouven, Lackie, Melvin and Bobby Bradberry; eight daughters, Beulah Pennison, Carrie Rea, Alice Chaisson, Joyce DeRosia, Blondie Roberts, Phyllis Warren, Kate Crosby and Patricia Armand; two brothers, Frank and Paul Bradberry; 73 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Adrienne Besson Bradberry; his parents, Howard and Marie Verdin Bradberry; one son, Gary Bradberry; one daughter, Julie Ann Bradberry; six brothers, Philip, Tony, Raymond, Joe, John and Jip Bradberry; and two sisters, Agnes Crosby and Antonia Santiny.
