Violet Ord and Robert Ord had at least three children, Roberta P., Evona V., and Ordella V. Her obituary lists four daughters.

Violet A. Ord Dies in Utah

Former Nampa Mayor's Widow Succumbs at Age of 57

Mrs. Violet A. Ord, 57, long-time Nampa resident, died Friday, July 25, at a hospital in Provo, Utah, following a year's illness.

Mrs. Ord was born Jan. 14, 1895, in Utah and was the widow of R. Lewis Ord, Nampa businessman and former mayor who died Oct. 12, 1948. She was an active member of the Second ward L.D.S. church.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Edwin Buckley of Nampa, Mrs. Mark Anderson, Jr., of Provo, Utah, Mrs. Don Matthews of Boise and Miss VanNita Ord of Nampa; her mother, Mrs. Annie Anderson of Nampa; a sister, Mrs. Alvin Hunter of Nampa; one brother, Edmond Anderson of Nampa; and four grandchildren.

The body is being sent to Alsip chapel here. Funeral services will be announced later.
