On August 21, 1934, he was married to the former Stella Vonderheide at St. Michael Church in Brookville. A retired barber, he operated his business in the same location for 50 years. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, and honarary lifetime member of Knights of Columbus of Brookville, and F.O.E. #1129 of Brookville." (Brookville Democrat July 18, 1990)
