James Lowe -- Quitman, LA
James Wesley Lowe, 76, of Quitman died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, in Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 18, in Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stuart Toms and Rev. T. J. Boyd officiating.
Burial was in Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Lowe of Quitman; three sons and daughters-in-law, James W. and Brenda Lowe, Jr. of Jonesboro, John W. and Kaye Lowe, Sr. of Quitman, and Paul D. and Martha Lowe, also of Quitman; one sister, Lurline Farmer of Ruston; five brothers, Owen Lowe of West Monroe, Royce Lowe of Star City, AR, Troy Lowe of Ruston, Waylon Lowe of West Monroe, and Wayne Lowe of Jonesboro; eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and two special nieces, Debbie Miller and Margaret Joiner.
Mr. Lowe was preceded in death by his wife, Mary G. Lowe; and daughter, Margaret Dale Lowe.
Pallbearers were Danny Hanes, Roy Earl Koonce, Oliver Lockhart, Earnest Lowe, Jackie Lowe, and Michael Lowe. Honorary pallbearers were Neil Lowe and Bill Womack.
