Funeral services for Mr. Owen R. Lowe, 84 of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 10,2009 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-West Monroe with Rev. Tom Lowe and Rev. Jeff Luellen officiating. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery-Quitman, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home.

Mr. Lowe was born March 8, 1924 in Quitman, LA and died February 7, 2009 in West Monroe. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Lowe owned and operated Lowe's Shell Service Station for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James Lowe and Waylon Lowe.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Lowe; six children, Ralph Lowe, Antoinette" Toni" Mullins and husband David, Kimblea "Kim" Smalling and husband Eddie Ray, Michael Lowe and wife Rhonda, Christine Trahan and husband Tim and Bobby Martin and wife Shelia; brothers, Wayne Lowe, Royce Lowe and Troy Lowe; sister, Lurline Farmer; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and his special buddy Skeeter.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Randall Lowe, David "Bubba" Mullins, Mark Allbritton, Brad Smalling, Kaleb Smalling and Kristopher Willis.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-West Monroe.
