Funeral services for Adolph Albertson were conducted from the Chippewa Lutheran church in Brandon Saturday afternoon, July 11, at 2 o'clock with Rev. Sigurd M. Berg officiating. Pallbearers were Louis Larson, Simon Elness, Olaf Elness, Carl Scherrer, John Strom and Otto Nylander. Interment was made in the Chippewa Lake cemetery. Mr. Albertson passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 7, at 12:45 p.m. from a heart attack. He had been in failing health for several years.
Adolph Albertson was born July 28, 1886, near Trondheim, Norway, and was nearly 67 years of age at the time of his death. He came to America at the age of 17 and has lived on a farm near Brandon about 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Julia, and three children. The children are: Lenora of Seattle, Arvid of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and Arnold at home. One daughter preceded him in death.
