Age 87, of Inwood, WV, she passed away at Berkeley Medical Center. Daughter of the late Byron and Fannie Katherine Hartman Bodkin. She was retired from General Motors and was an avid bowler for many years. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church.
Survived by two daughters: Constance Diana Simmons of Martinsburg, Patricia Sue Britton of Inwood; 3 grandchildren: Amber Streets, Adria Barshinger, Carrie Britton; 4 great-grandchildren: Taylor Leigh Scott, Ryan Streets, Dawson Mathis, Jackson Barshinger; 3 brothers: Billy S., Bobby G., and Roy A. Bodkin all of Brandywine; two sisters: Elva K. Crouse of Dayton, VA, Nellie Juanita Cowger of Baltimore, MD.
Preceded in death by her husband Vernie Carter; a brother Marlin R. Bodkin.
