Bethel Larken Bussell, 92, of Sparta, passed away July 30, 2002, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Bussell was born June 3, 1910, in White County, to Meredith Daniel Bussell and Lola Clark Bussell.
He had been a farmer.
Bussell was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Blanton Bussell.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elrod Bussell of
Sparta; three daughters, Thelma Jean Bussell Gambrell of Cookeville, Edna Ruth Bussell Baker of Sparta and Madelyn Bussell Bennett of Westmoreland; two sons, Albert Bethel Bussell of Algood and Jack Daniel Bussell of Quebeck; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Aug. 2, 2002, at the chapel of Thurman Funeral Home with burial in Carter Cemetery. Bro. Randy White and Bro. Chad Ramsey officiated.
Thurman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
