John Thomas Allen, 91, of Mountain City, Georgia, formerly of Campton, Georgia, was the son of the late Paul True and Leila Deloach Allen. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Cora Lee Kirk Allen.

He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Cathey, his two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Mark, Allen, and Wyatt Arbitter, and Sarah Kate Shuman.

Surviving siblings include James Allen, Nina Nix, Irene White, Alice Burgess of Walton County, and Eugene Allen of Atlanta.

Mr. Allen was a member of Mountain City United Methodist Church and a member and past Worshipful Master of Campton Lodge 566. He was proud to serve in the US Army during WWII.

He was a devoted son and a loving husband and father who will be missed every day.
