"Services Are Held For J. E. Booker"
Funeral services for James Earnest Booker, 72, resident of Peterman, were held Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. from the Peterman Baptist Church. The Rev. Gardner Koch officiated, with burial following in the Lone Star Cemetery.
Mr. Booker died at Monroeville Hospital Sunday at four p. m. He was a native of Conecuh County, a former resident of the Pine Orchard community, but had resided in Peterman for the past two years. Mr. Booker was a member of the Peterman Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Curtis Booker, York, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Williams, Casper, Wyo., and Mrs. Lillian Nalls, Elba; two brothers, Nick Booker, Atmore, Rt. 2, and Dock Booker, Mobile; three sisters, Mrs. Sallie Bell Colgin, Peterman, Mrs. Minner Brown, Evergreen, and Mrs. Maggie Hancock, Mobile.
