Mrs. A. G. Booker passed away at her home Friday morning, Aug. 1, after having reached the ripe old age of 83 years. Born, reared and having lived her entire life in the county, she was a well known and respected citizen.
In early life, she united with Ramah Baptist church and throughout her long and useful life she remained devoted to her faith. Survivors are the following children: Mrs. E. W. Colgen, Mrs. Maggie Hancock, Mrs. Mae Williamson, Mrs, S. W. Brown, Ernest, R. C., and D. A. Booker.
Pallbearers were: Roy Hancock, Ralph Brown, Leon Brown, Archie Raines, D. A. Booker, and R. C. Booker. Funeral services were held at Lone Star Church with Rev. A. A. Hutto officiating.
