Thomas was the son of Silas & Elizabeth (Whitney) Latham. About 1879 Thomas was married to Mary E. (surname unknown - also buried at Wesley Chapel Cemetery). The couple parented six children between the years of 1879 & 1887: Eva Latham, Lida Latham, Walter M. Latham, Mary E. Latham (also buried at Wesley Chapel Cemetery), Lulu M. Latham, & Raymond "Ray" P. Latham. Thomas listed his occupations variously as "farmer" and "grain dealer" while living first in Norwich Township and then in Brown Township - both in Franklin County, OH.
