She died, I believe in 1868, after John Wesley Pettit and she had two (2) children. The children were Maggie Pettit, born January 7, 1862 in Alabama and Benjamin Thomas "Ben" Pettit, born September 2, 1865 in Alabama.
I don't know when their daughter Maggie Pettit died or where she was buried. John Wesley and Mary Jane's son, Ben Pettit died November 12, 1936 and was buried in Dallas, Texas.
John Wesley Pettit, Mary Jane Pettit and family moved to Wills Point, Texas in 1866.
After Mary Jane (McMillon) Pettit died, John Wesley Pettit married her sister who was Etha Lucinda (McMillon) Pettit. John Wesley and Etha Lucinda married November 14, 1869.
So John Wesley Pettit and Etha Lucinda (McMillon) Pettit had the rest of the children in Texas.
