SMOKE RUN - Funeral and interment services for Mrs. Helen L. Fieldhouse, 80, of Smoke Run, who died on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 5:45 p.m. at Philipsburg State General Hospital, will be said Saturday at 1 p.m. at Shoff-Kruise funeral Home in Madera with the Rev. Joseph Yorks officiating.
Interment will be in Beulah Cemetery.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Born Nov. 21, 1908, in Washington Township, she was the daughter of Leslie L. and May (Bussard) Horm.
In June 1946 in Belair, Md., she married Fredrick Fieldhouse, who survives along with six sisters, Mrs. Andrew (Nellie) Kalgren of Reynoldsville, Mrs. Florence Smiley of Brookville, Mrs. Alex (Pauline) Klemenko of Homestead, Mrs. Floyd (Dorothy) Stomer of Bradford, Mrs. Gary (Caroline) Kammerdiemer of Brookville, and Mrs. Betty Whitesell of Northeast; four brothers, Kenneth L. of DuBois, Guy E. of Midland, Lee of Frenchville, and Robert of Clearfield; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, George and Ralph and one sister Myrtle Thompson.
Mrs. Fieldhouse was a homemaker.
