Another sad death is that of Mrs. Ike Dethmers, which occurred early Sunday morning. She had been sick but a very few days, and notwithstanding everything that human aid could do was done, it was of no avail, and she was taken to her heavenly home.

She had lived all, or nearly all, of her life near Boyden, and it is said by all those intimately acquainted with her, that she was a very estimable woman. What makes the case more than sad, is that Mr. Dethmers was too ill to be told of her death and it was not until she had been buried a day that he was aware of the fact of her death.

She was buried in the Boyden cemetery, Monday, a large concourse of relatives paying their last sad respects. As we go to press we hear that Ike is improving slowly--a fact that we are all glad to hear. If we are able to get it we will publish an obituary next week. The mourning husband and relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of their many friends.
