Harlin Henry Headrick passed on after a lengthy illness, Wednesday, August 27th, 2014, at the home of his daughter in Enid, Oklahoma. Harlin was born the eighth of ten children, October 25, 1930, to George and Mary Anna (Hensley) Headrick near Adams, Oklahoma. He lived most of his life in Guymon, Oklahoma. He was a well-known carpenter/contractor, leaving a legacy of many beautiful homes and commercial buildings in this area.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie (Hudson) Headrick; five daughters, Karen Bergner and husband, John of Enid, Oklahoma; Sharon Hinchey and husband, Mack of Guymon; Billie Bass and husband, Joe of Wesley Chapel, Florida; Marsha Truitt and husband, Linwood of Hazlehurst, Georgia; Susie Johnson and Fritz Johnson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and one son, Pete Headrick and wife, Deborah of Guymon.

Surviving grandchildren include Chris Bergner and wife, Tanda; Brandon Bergner and wife, Michelle; Adrienne Kirkland and husband, Jim; Macanda Block and husband, Travis; Shara Hinchey; Robyn Hinchey; Averie Hinchey; Clayton Bass; Lucinda Bass; Misty McKendree and husband, Jason; Dedra Bradford and husband, Dave; Charity Hitch and husband, Chris; Hope Headrick; Colter Headrick; Brecklynn Johnson; Aubrey Mann; Andrea Shobert; and 25 great grandchildren.

He is also survived by 3 brothers, Melbourne Headrick of Hooker, Oklahoma; Ivan Headrick and wife, Marilyn of Liberal, Kansas; Rondald Headrick of Aztec, New Mexico; one sister, Mary Hintergardt of Guymon; and many nieces and nephews.

Harlin was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Jacob Headrick, Donald Headrick, and Warren Headrick, and two sisters Georgia Williams and Myrtle Pettijohn.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning, September 1st at 10:00 a.m. at the Nazarene Church with Rev. Wayne Dawson pastor and Rev. Terry Armstrong of Mustang, Oklahoma officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

The Headrick family will greet friends Sunday afternoon, August 31st between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Nazarene Church or a charity of choice. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
