HEBERT — Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today for Sam D. Wilson, 58, of Hebert, in the Boeuf River Baptist Church with the Rev. James L. Strittman officiating.

Burial was in Ogden Cemetery under direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

Mr. Wilson died Monday en route to Caldwell Parish Hospital after an apparent heart attack.

He was a carpenter and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Doris Wilson of Hebert; one son, David K. Wilson of Hebert; one daughter, Mrs. Anita Lynn Philips of Hebert; three brothers, E. A. Wilson of Torrence, Calif., Woodrow Wilson of Winnsboro, and John E. Wilson of Monroe; and one grandson.
