RUSH LAKE WOM IS CALLED BY DEATH
Mrs. Ida Zamzow, Route 1 of Rush Lake, passed away Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Berlin Memorial hospital after a short illness. The deceased was born in Germany Oct. 16, 1868, the daughter of August and Wilhelmina Krueger. At the age of 14 she came with her parents to this country, where they settled at Merrill, Wis. In May, 1886, she married Charles A. Zamzow and 14 years ago moved to the farm in Rush Lake. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Chester Kintz and Mrs. Frank Zech, both of Ripon, and Mrs. Oliver Otto and Mrs. Darwin Stratton, both of Berlin; eight sons. Will, of Route 2, Ernest of Ripon, Edward of Santa Cruz, Calif., Louis of Berlin, Karl of Ripon, Harold of Camp Piekett, Va., and Ralph at home. Her husband preceded her in death June 10. 1942. The body was taken to the Wiecki funeral home where it may be viewed from Saturday afternoon until the hour of services. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the funeral home. The Rev. Mr. Schieler of the Ripon Evangelical Lutheran church will officiate. Interment will be in the Oakwood cemetery in Berlin.
