Wilhelmina Ebert Dies In Home
Wilhelmina A. Ebert, 83, a native of Letz, Germany, and a resident of Santa Cruz since 1907, died suddenly Saturday in her home at 710 Sumner street. She came to the United States as a small child with her parents and settled in Wisconsin where she married the late H.W. Ebert, who died in 1947. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1945. Ebert formerly was associated with the Salz tannery. Mrs. Ebert was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian church.

She is survived by seven daughters: Rosa Gulvin, Stella Taft and Mae Brockway, all of Long Beach, Ruth Smith of Campbell, and Dorotha Kalar, Anna Smith and Betta Bryan, all of Santa Cruz: 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a. m. in White's chapel with Dr. Harry Hansen of Salinas, former pastor of the Trinity church, officiating. Interment will follow in the IOOF cemetery.
